No. A recording is a keepsake. It does not replace a will and does not change one. It can be a lovely thing to have played when a will is read, but your will itself is separate, and the law has its own rules for wills.

Only the Playbearer you choose, and the backup if you choose one. Each has a secret link and signs a short agreement. Nobody else, including us, plays it for you.

No. It can be anyone you trust: a spouse, a child, a friend, a pastor, or an attorney if you would like one. We never ask who they are beyond their name and email.

They promise not to, and the page will not play it until they confirm a passing. We tell the people you chose that it has been opened. This is a matter of trust, so choose someone you trust.

Re-record, replace or delete any recording at any time until it has been played. You can also remove everything with one button.

For up to the years in your package (10, 25 or 50), counted from the day you pay. After that it is deleted. If we ever had to close, we would tell you and your Playbearer by email first, and give you time to download everything.

You record only your voice and add up to 12 photos. The photos appear one after another while your voice plays. Many people prefer it.

It asks a few simple questions and writes a first version for you to read aloud. Then you can tap to make it funnier, warmer, shorter or more serious. Your words go to an AI service to be rewritten and come straight back. We do not keep them.

A phone or computer with a camera and microphone, or a video or sound file you already have. Recording happens in your browser, so there is nothing to install.

Yes. They can play it from their phone or laptop, show it on a screen in full-screen mode, or download it ahead of time to bring on a laptop or USB stick.
