Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and SHORE AI LLC ("we", "us") for Play At My Funeral. By buying a package you agree to them.

What we provide

A private page where you can record or upload a video or voice recording, choose a Playbearer and a backup, and have your recordings kept and made available to your Playbearer to play. We provide an AI message helper to suggest words. You decide what to say.

What this is not

A recording is a keepsake. It is not a will, it does not change or replace a will, and it is not legal, medical or financial advice. Wills have their own legal rules, which we do not handle.

Your Playbearer

You choose who plays your recording. We send them an invitation and ask them to accept a short agreement. We do not check their identity beyond their name and email. When they confirm a passing, the recording opens for them. We do not verify the passing. Please choose people you trust.

Your content

You keep everything you record. You give us permission to store it, process it so it plays on common devices, and show it to the people you choose. You promise that what you upload is yours to share and does not break the law, threaten, harass or defame anyone. We may remove content that does.

How long we keep it

We keep your recordings for up to the number of years in your package, counted from the day you pay, and then delete them. If we ever have to close the service, we will email you and your Playbearer first and give you time to download your recordings.

Price and refunds

You pay once, upfront, through Stripe. If you are not happy, write to us within 30 days of paying and we will refund your payment.

Keeping it working

We work hard to keep your recordings safe and available, but we cannot promise the service will never be interrupted or that a file will never be lost. We recommend keeping a copy of your own recordings and giving your Playbearer a copy too. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility is limited to the amount you paid.

Using the site

Please don't try to break into the service, overload it, or open anyone else's private pages.
